The Tire Flip is a full-body functional strength movement driven primarily by the quadriceps, hamstrings, and glutes as you explode a heavy tire upward from the ground. You squat down, grip the underside of the tire, drive through the legs to raise it, then push it over. It builds lower-body power and total-body conditioning simultaneously.
How to do the Tire Flip
- 1Stand facing the tire with your feet hip-width apart and your toes close to its base.
- 2Hinge at the hips and bend your knees to squat down, sliding your fingers under the tire's lower edge with your palms facing up and your spine in a neutral position.
- 3Brace your core, take a breath into your belly, and grip the tire firmly with both hands.

- 5As the tire rises past hip height, step forward to close the gap and shift your hands from underneath to a pushing position on the side of the tire.
